The Wellness and Prevention Office includes the MPS Health and Physical Education departments, Safe and Drug-Free Schools, and other grant funded programs. The mission of the office is to support the physical, social, emotional, and academic development of all students. Wellness is a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. Our goal is to develop confident, self-reliant, and self- directed individuals who are capable of reaching their full potential as productive members of society.
